Help The Wavell School celebrate its 50th Anniversary in 2020!

Over the years The Wavell School has had the privilege of teaching and working with an extraordinary group of people.  We thoroughly enjoy and embrace our diverse community and are proud of our military connection.

Our staff, students and parents have always been an integral part of The Wavell 'family'. It is for this reason we would like to mark the occasion by providing a ‘reflection and celebration’ garden for the students of both today and tomorrow.  We would like to commission a statue that epitomises the school’s values and ethos and build a garden where the statue can reside.  The area will offer a beautiful, quiet, calm space where students and staff alike can go and take a break from their busy day.

We will be carrying out many fundraising activities over the coming year but we would truly welcome your support for our project too.  We estimate the entire project will cost approximately £14,000 and any amount you can pledge to our campaign will be very gratefully received.

The statue will be in the form of a book resting on a plinth.  Importantly the plinth will be encircled by figurines holding hands, depicting our commitment to nurturing the students we teach and the community we serve.
