We currently part-share our play area with the local community but we'd like to create a toddler friendly area and re-site some play equipment into the adjoining playground so that it can be used all day by the whole community.
When Brighton and Hove City Council came to inspect the climbing apparatus, it was found that some parts don't meet current legislation. They have suggested a re-design of the playground so that it is more inclusive for children under the age of 5 years old. We also need adequate fencing to safeguard the nursery as recommended by Sussex Police and OFSTED.
Brighton and Hove City Council have kindly offered £15,000 towards the cost and have asked us to find the remaining £3,600 so we need your help!
