On the 25th March the staff and pupils from Dunbury Academy launched our 8 week ‘Enriching Our Futures’ crowdfunding project. The target was to raise £10,000 for IT equipment for the children of our school. In the 8 weeks we have managed to raise [£7,500] and with Gift Aid the total is [£8,500].  We see this as a fantastic achievement for a school with only 110 pupils and have decided to set up a regular giving programme, which in the first instance, will allow us to raise the final £1,500 we need to buy a set of Chromebooks.

Regular giving means that we will have additional money for other projects and the staff and pupils have produced their own wish list that this could fund.

·        Outdoor play equipment

·        Musical instruments

·        Library books

·        Sports kit

Please support us if you can with a pledge or by passing our crowdfunding page on to all your contacts on social media. To set up a regular donation, please click on the DONATE button. You can choose how much to donate each month. If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete the Gift Aid declaration and we can claim back from HMRC 25p for evert £1.00 that you donate.

Every £10 donated will help us achieve our goals.  If you know of a business who would like to help, please put them in touch with us. All support is very much appreciated.

If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Dunbury Academy on 01258 880501 or office@dunbury.dsat.org.uk.

We hope our video brings a smile to your face and you enjoy watching it.

Part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust, the school is set in the Winterborne Valley, Dorset.  We have two beautiful purpose-built buildings one for infants and one for juniors.  We were the first school in the country to federate, so that the small schools could be kept at the heart of their communities, back in 1993.  We feel very blessed to be providing the local children with a great education, being recently rated "Good" by both Ofsted and SIAMS. It is a lovely school with a talented team and a growing roll.  We feel a project such as this will help us to provide even better opportunities for the children within our school.

Thank you for your support! It will really make a difference!
