Miles to Mali
At Cottesmore Academy most of our children have at least one parent serving in the British Army. Not only have our children had to cope with lockdown but many of them have a parent now deployed to Poland or Mali, Africa.
So, this term we are embarking on a huge challenge and we need your help! We are aiming to run all the way to Mali!
Everyday, all children and adults in the school are running for 15 minutes to try to run the whole distance from Cottesmore in Rutland, to Mali, where many of our parents have been deployed.
We are trying to raise money for playground equipment, so are looking for some serious sponsorship. Please try to find any amount to donate as every littles helps for us to get the children a treat on the playground - a treat they deserve.
