Thanks to your wonderfully generous donations during the first lockdown, we were able to buy devices to support many of our children to be able to access their learning online.
During this second school closure, we know that this is a very difficult time for us all emotionally, mentally and physically. For many of our families, they have an additional financial pressure due to the virus and we need to ask for your support once more. Currently many of our families are finding it extremely difficult to be able to buy enough basic food and household provisions. Food banks are currently stretched to the limit and we as a school community need to support our most vulnerable children.
Chesterton Primary School has always been at the heart of our community and is completely committed to supporting all our families during Covid 19. We are aiming to provide essential food and household packages (store cupboard items, fruit and vegetables, household and sanitary products) to a number of our key families once a week.
If you feel you can contribute an amount to our cause, it would be hugely appreciated by us and the whole community.
